Description

There are some symbols of South African culture that we all love and will never tire of seeing. I chose the Protea and Arum lilly as Flora native and special to our country. Of course the Elephant – a symbols of strength and wisdom. And the wonderful sugarbird – a symbol of the Western Cape Province. The Side Silhouettes are the African Continant and a patterned shape reminding me of the giraffe as well as strong patterns used in a lot of African Art. And the Southern Right Whale which comes to the waters of Hermanus each year to mate, give birth and nurse their young.
